Mr. & Mrs. D.About Me
- Name: Mrs. D.
This is not how I planned my life in that class you take in high school that makes you list where you will be in 10 or 20 years. Got married to young (20)... wasted my youth on a no-good cheater. Divorced. Met Mr. D in 1996 and we fell in love... (REAL love this time.) We married in 2001. I was already behind in my plan because while I did earn a BFA in Theatre Performance and became and actress and teacher... I was not (A) a movie star (B) a millionaire or (C)the perfect mother to 2.5 children... Mr. D and I recently built our first home and I teach acting, directing, and technical theatre in a high school. I love my hubby, my job, and the life we have made together. Two years ago Mr. D and I started the "it is time to have a baby" negotiations. I never thought that waiting until I was 30 would be a problem. After 2 m/c and tons of fertility tests...I am beginning to panic...

It must drive you crazy, but it's amazing that you've managed to induce lactation like this and one day it will be worth it.
Don't suppose you'd consider changing agencies? Or widening the choice of babies/circumstances you'd be prepared to accept?
ouch...I'm thinking of you.
*HUGS*
Mrs. D, I couldn't find an email address for you. I've been lurking on your blog for almost the past two years. Could you email me at SmartOneKym@gmail.com, please? Thanks!

Sorry, had to correct typos
I have been reading your blog for many years (since 2006) and I don't know if I've ever left a comment before but I felt compelled to speak with you now. I know that times and circumstances are different in different parts of the country and with different agencies but I have several friends both IRL and OL who have adopted both domestically and internationally and none have waited even close to the length of time you have had to wait. Are you sure this is the best agnecy for you? Just a thought but you may want to look elsewhere or maybe get reccomendations from people you know who have had good results with other agencies. Just my thought, hope this doesn't offend you. I check your blog evreyday and I always pray you'll have had good news...
I am with the others - I know you did your due diligence and the agency you are at was the right one at the time, but perhaps it is time to branch out. Times have changed and an opportunity that wasn't there a year and a half ago might be there now. Can you be registered with two agencies? I know there is a cost associated, but it may be worth it. I also know you didn't ask for advise so feel free to mumble "fuck you" under your breath as you read this.
I cannot wait to hear of your baby girl's arrival - and I know it will happen...it takes time.
sweetie...:(
wild turkey might be the answer after all that work you put in!
I visit often hoping for an update. I really hope you get your wish this holiday season. You deserve it!
