It is starting again...

THAT DREADED URGE TO PEE ON A STICK...

The facts...
CD 22 of approx. 32...
Somewhere between 8-10 dpo...
Pregnancy symptoms?... Who knows???? Progesterone screws up everything...
Chart?... Who knows what any of this means....
Update #1 Remember... don't get too excited about high temps for me... it's the progesterone talking folks... if my temps weren't high there would really be a problem... in fact (pessimistic view) we don't really know about the ovulation date... the progesterone I started on cd 15 could have cause the "O" cross bars on my chart... SUCKS.
Me?... scared of another BFN... I hate the downward spiral it throws me into...

"To test or not to test... that is the question...."

Update #2 I made it through Sunday and Monday mornings without testing... mainly because of your support.... You girls crack me up! Keep it a comin'!!!

advice?

Don't Test until you are DUE!! Please, for the love of God - Don't test!!!!! These early tests are pure evil - and whoever came up with them has some deep-rooted hatred of women!!!!
I am an obsessive tester - yesterday I got a + even though it was 3 days before AF was due - than had a series of negative (3 in total) ever since (even with this mornings "first morning urine".

Try to hold out for the 6 days!!! If your temp. doesn't come crashing down (which I am expecting mine will on Tuesday) then take a test!!! You will have 6 more days of hoping instead of possibly unnecessary disappointment!!!

Who are we kidding -you know you are going to test -as I probably will again - hope it sounded good though!

Don't Test!!!!! It is too early and if you don't get a BFP you are just going to get really upset! Maybe if you "just relax", the urge will go away. Just kidding :oÞ

Jamie -

If you take a test, I am going to take away your crown! (okay . . I am melodramatic . . just kidding) But really, your temps are high, which could be good, despite the fact that your cat ruined an important interlude. Keep yourself busy for a few days, blog, blog, blog, clean, work out, anything. You can pee on the evil stick . . in a few days.

(((hugs!)))

Jamie...
DON'T TEST... Put the stick down and walk away from the test... Yes I know... we as Pg test Whores have many on hand just waiting to be peed on and give us rejection but fight the urge...
Now that that is said... I tested early too.. AF not due for another 3 days and I have already tested twice.. Both stupid BFN.. but I wonder what is worse finding out with the bfn leading up to AF or just AF crashing down all at once. Good luck whatever you decide.

I think it's too early to see a line on the test, but I will say that your temps are very high and that's a good sign. You're also too early to check your cervix because it will still be closed (it opens slightly before your period, about 2-3 days before), so that won't help either. You just need to wait about 3 more days. Your temps look good though, and I'm crossing my fingers for you (you had a nice, very clear ovulation pattern with a strong egg (the temps shot up after ovulation nicely, when they take a while to rise, that usually signals some issues with the egg quality for that particular month)).

Good luck. I'll be thinking about you and obsessively checking your blog until you break down and pee on that stick ;)

xxoo,
Emily

I'd do it but I'm not the best role model there is. If its negative, it was too early to test anyway, right? Then just pee again. If its positive, well hell, you didn't have to wait so long.

Jamie....DON'T TEST!! I know that is easier said than done, but try your best not to test just yet.

Keep your fingers crossed and do anything you can to keep your mind off testing. I will be thinking about you and praying that this is it!

Take care,
Chasity

Jamie. I just wanted to say Good Luck girl! YOu are one of the most deserving people of a BFP that I have ever met. I will not say don't test, I just say, son't get too let down if it is negative at the moment, it might be too soon. I will be wishing and hoping for a positive HPT that leads you to a healthy pregnancy and birth. How much can one person take? Gee, your an inspiration to me Jamie. I am with you all the way.
Love Lesley

Oh, forget my idea. I like the chocolate one better. You're much stronger than I am. Good luck when you actually decide to pee on something!

Jamie--I have nothing new to add. I am just continuing to urge you to NOT pee on any sticks. Unless you go find one in your backyard to pee on just to say you peed on a stick.

HI Jamie! I'm still here, still reading. Blogger can be such a pain in the ass about letting me post.
When I was temping I found that the post-O temps only served to drive me out of my mind. They never told me anything else. When I finally got my BFP I had to stop temping because the fluctuations were frightening. I was actually going to stop temping post O for the next cycle, to try and cut down on stress.
Sorry haven't been by, my normal computer time is during Tommy's nap time, and now I nap with him too. But I still read! Sometimes I just don't stay around to comment. Since blogger is such a pain.

Now you have me dying to know...knowing that mine will be a big negative it would help to know a friend has a positive..on the other hand if yours is negative I will be soooo depressed.....

Pee on it!

No dont pee on it!

Oh do not listen to me..all the woman before me were much more sane...take their advice.
