This is not how I planned my life in that class you take in high school that makes you list where you will be in 10 or 20 years. Got married to young (20)... wasted my youth on a no-good cheater. Divorced. Met Mr. D in 1996 and we fell in love... (REAL love this time.) We married in 2001. I was already behind in my plan because while I did earn a BFA in Theatre Performance and became and actress and teacher... I was not (A) a movie star (B) a millionaire or (C)the perfect mother to 2.5 children... Mr. D and I recently built our first home and I teach acting, directing, and technical theatre in a high school. I love my hubby, my job, and the life we have made together. Two years ago Mr. D and I started the "it is time to have a baby" negotiations. I never thought that waiting until I was 30 would be a problem. After 2 m/c and tons of fertility tests...I am beginning to panic...
If anyone ever tells you that you can do pergo floors by yourself because "it's so easy"... Tell them to fuck off and hire a professional. (It was even hard for the friggin professionals!)
I am just starting to get used to the click-click-click of my pets running through the rooms... it is a big change from carpet... but I am loving them!

Your floors are so pretty!
I love the floors. Now you can spend massive amounts of money on area rugs. :o) I love area rugs.
One cannot do a good DIY job on floors. They look nice.
I wish mine looked like that. We're in the process of trying to restore our hardwoods but I think I'm about to give up and go to laminate. So pretty!!
I love our PERGO floors. We have them in our office and media room! They look great. We had out done professionally and then decided that we would do our bedroom on our own. However, you are right, it's probably something for proffessionals. :o)
